I love Liberty London cotton lawn but it is expensive so today I want to go over more affordable floral print fabric options. This is an update to a post I wrote a few years back. - Robert Kaufman London Calling – This collection of cotton lawn prints ranges from $10-$13 a yard. I see prints available from their current and past collections ( they’re up to 8 collections now ) at fabric.com and Etsy.

- Sevenberry Petite Garden Lawn – This is another collection of cotton lawn prints printed by Robert Kaufman that range from $10-$13 a yard. Also available at fabric.com and a limited amount on Etsy. Note that Sevenberry also has a Petite Garden quilting cotton collection so make sure you are purchasing the cotton lawn. The prints are different between the collections and it should have “lawn” in the description.

- Memoire A paris from Lecien – This cotton lawn collection came out in 2017 but is still available on Etsy. The prints are gorgeous but note that the width is 44″ so if you are thinking of making clothing from these prints keep this in mind when you’re calculating how much fabric you need. Lecien has another cotton lawn collection that will release in summer of 2018.

- Cotton and Steel – They started offering cotton lawn in addition to quilting cotton for their collections a few years back. fabric.com has some prints from their collection of cotton lawns available for $13-$15 per yard. I also found a couple of shops on Etsy that sells cotton lawn bundles.

- Regent Street Lawn from Moda – This is a collection of cotton lawns by Sentimental Studios for Moda. The latest 2018 collection is available on Etsy ranging from $10-$11 per yard.

- Alison Glass Adorn from Andover – This is a recent collection of cotton lawn designed by Alison Glass. Available on fabric.com and Etsy ranging from $14-$17 per yard.

- The cotton lawn printed in Japan has the feel and weight similar to Liberty lawn. I bought my Japanese lawn from Miss Matatabi on Etsy. Great Etsy shop and even sent me samples of fabric I was on the fence about. Note that fabric from Japan are typically 42″-44″ width so you are getting less fabric for the price compared to Liberty lawn which is 53″ width excluding selvage. Prices range between $13-$20 per meter.
Consider combining solid or subtle patterns with prints to stretch your yardage. I’ve bought Kaufman Cotton lawn for $7-$8 a yard at fabric.com depending if there is a sale.
