Welcome to this week’s edition of Tips and Clips. If you missed the previous edition, you can read about it here.
1. I’ve been wanting to make a handbag lately but think it would look so much better with leather handles. I found these posts here and here on how to sew your own. It adds such a nice touch to the look of the bag don’t you think?
2. I was so inspired by this post on Passacaglia patchwork using Liberty lawn. It’s definitely a project going on my to do list.
3. I love sewing with rayon but do not love binding the neckline because the fabric is too soft to work with. Check out this post on how to finish your neckline using a rayon facing.
4. I’ve always had a hard time understanding hpw to make bust adjustments for patterns. This is a great tutorial on how to do this.
That’s it for this week’s edition. Happy “mad” sewing!
