Welcome to this week’s edition of Tips and Clips. If you missed last week’s edition, you can read about it here. To recap, this is meant to be a compilation of “tips” or “clips” about sewing, fabric, or articles I’ve stumbled upon that I found interesting and hope you’ll find useful as well.
1. Last week I mentioned the new Liberty London Autumn/Winter 2015 Synchronicity collection was released on July 1st. This week I saw pictures of the new 2016 classics in different colorways. I love this bundle of 2016 classics from Duckadilly this Ffion print. Ava and Neve and Materialise Your Life have some lovely pictures on their Instagram feed. Again, going my ever so long wish list =)
2. Are you a fabric hoarder? Check out this post from Sew Can Do about her experience with fabric hoarding.
3. Have you ever seen a Public Television series called “It’s Sew Easy”? You can read more about this series on their website. There are a lot of episodes available on Youtube and I’ve found the series very interesting because they cover a wide variety of sewing/quilting tips and ideas.
4. Have you ever tried Crayola washable markers to mark fabric? This is a great post by Baste and Gather where she documents the different tests she tried with the markers.
5. Finally, who doesn’t love giveaways? I found a site that lists fabric and sewing related giveaways all in one place. Good luck!
That’s it for this week’s edition. Happy “mad” sewing!
